Power Electrics Adds to UK's Largest Generator Transport Fleet
Power Electrics’ in-house transport fleet continues to grow, and with the recent purchase of two new Large Goods Vehicles [LGVs], it continues to be one of the UK’s largest generator transport fleets at over 50 vehicles.
The expansion to its transport fleet means it can continue to provide the rapid and reliable delivery that its customers have come to expect.
These two new LGV's join Power Electrics' already well-established fleet, including: 23 Hiab wagons, 5 Tractor units, 17 Rapid Response lorries (fitted with generators ranging from 200-700kVA), 4x4s at all UK depots with more than 200 road-towable generators (20-200Kva) and 80 road-towable fuel bowsers.

Mike Monelle from Motus said: "Motus Commercials are pleased to be associated with Power Electrics as their sole supplier of heavy commercial vehicles. Our latest supply was for two CF480 FAX 8x2 drawbar rigid's with lifting and steering rear axles designed for increased manoeuvrability. The chassis was fitted with large PM rear-mounted cranes and flatbed bodies. The drive train of these vehicles consists of a 12.9 litre Paccar MX engine developing 480hp coupled with a ZF 16-speed manual gearbox."
All of Power Electrics’ Hiab fleet are manufactured by DAF, with 19 of the 23 wagons meeting Euro 6, the highest-level emissions classification.
