UPS and Generator For University
A bespoke turnkey system was created to provide backup power to a University where the UPS supports the generator in the event of battery failure. A 400kVA FG Wilson generator was housed in a custom built ISO container which also contained the UPS and Switchboard.
The Challenge
Due to construction works on the University site the electrical engineers required a 400kVA generator and custom ISO container in a short timeframe as not to delay their build schedule.
The Solution
Due to the high levels of stock Power Electrics hold along with the in-house fabrication team, the generator and container were delivered within the short timeframe and the University were able to meet their build schedule.
The Containagen, or containerised generator, is a diesel generator housed within a bunded heavy duty ISO container. A safe and secure power solution focused on your needs and requirements that protects your power from tampering and reduces noise levels to 70 dBA @1m.
