Power Electrics' Annual Sustainability Report

Bloodhound 1000 MPH Car Testing

The Bloodhound Project aims to break the world land speed record car and inspire the next generation of engineers.

Power Electrics provided generators to power the on-site engineering workshop (a Hardened Aircraft Shelter), the event area and heating for the car’s engine before the 200 MPH test runs at Newquay Airport in Cornwall.

“The provision of power to the HAS and out on the airfield during our testing, for the 5 weeks we were down there, directly contributed to our success. Power Electrics is an outstanding service provider and I have nothing but praise for the way you supported us.”
Stuart Edmondson, Head of Engineering Operations at Bloodhound SSC
