10 Years In South Wales
Steve Summers is the Depot Manager for Power Electrics in South Wales. Steve has been in the role for 13 years and has seen the company grow significantly in that time.
In 2017 we’re celebrating 10 years of the South Wales Depot, so we sat down with Steve to get an insight into it's history and future.
How has Power Electrics grown since you joined the company?
Power Electrics has certainly grown, and so has the South Wales depot. We have gone from two or three staff, to ten of us at the moment. We’re looking to employ some more sales staff, and of the back of that there will be some more people in the office and also engineers.
Tell us about the biggest projects your team has worked on?
The larger contracts we’ve had have been refineries. They gave us a good footstep into South Wales when we first started, which came in on year four and was a good 16 to 18 week project. It was the largest single event for Power Electrics in South Wales. As we came out of that project, we managed to secure a large utility company in South Wales, and we’ve been working with them for six years now.
