Power Electrics Raises Money for the Grand Appeal Charity
Taking on the 2019 Tough Mudder that consisted of 10 mud-filled miles and 25 obstacles, our team were able to raise £1,300 for the Bristol Children’s Hospital charity.
The new 2019 obstacles included scaling the Mudderhorn and traversing the Black Widow, making it one of the toughest events yet. Since 2017, our Power Electrics employees have worked hard to fundraise for the Grand Appeal and raising a total of £5,726.75.
Established in 1995, the Grand Appeal is a charity for the Bristol Children’s Hospital that supports and transforms the lives of children and young adults. They also work closely to support families who find themselves in a challenging situation as a parent or carer.
Working on a regional, national and international level, the Grand Appeal works to raise money and engage with a range of fundraisers and partners to support their cause and build their brand. The charity also funds the pioneering equipment and innovation that help save the lives of sick children and babies at Bristol Children’s Hospital, including MRI scanners, the neurosurgical robot and brain lab, and the paediatric intensive care unit.
