What is the job?

As one of the largest generator specialists, our mission is to explore new opportunities where reliable power is critical and continue to grow sustainably in current markets.

You will be based at our Bristol depot, working with the PDI Team to prepare the tanks for the Rental fleet.

What will you be doing in this role

  • Prepare and maintain fuel tanks for hire fleet.
  • Provide general assistance in the yard, including servicing generators and tower lights if required
  • Drive fork lift in yard as required, including loading and offloading equipment.
  • Re-book into stock any equipment, returned by third-party transport.
  • Deliver and collect generators and ancillary equipment using appropriate company vehicles where required, including re-fuelling.
  • Comply with the Company Health & Safety Policy, including carrying out general housekeeping to ensure work areas are tidy. This includes company vehicles.
  • Comply with all aspects of the company ISO 9001:2015 procedures, proactively contributing to the company’s continuous improvement programme.
  • May be required to participate in the on-call rota.

Skills and requirement

  • General engineering background – Desirable
  • Forklift Licence – Desirable
  • Diesel Awareness - Desirable
  • Confined Spaces Awareness – Desirable – (Training will be given)
