What is the job?

As one of the largest generator specialists, our mission is to explore new opportunities where reliable power is critical and continue to grow sustainably in current markets.

As we continue our dynamic expansion, an exceptional opportunity awaits a skilled Regional Sales Manager for the Southern Region.

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Generate Growth: Drive new business by acquiring new customers. Craft solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Customer Relationships: Cultivate strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring satisfaction, and fostering revenue growth.
  • Communication: Maintain consistent communication with Depot Managers regarding equipment utilisation and availability.
  • Customised Solutions: Generate quotes for ‘projects’. Work closely with Project and Technical Teams to create efficient, innovative solutions and offerings.
  • Pricing Strategy: Collaborate with the Depot Manager and Head of Sales on pricing, presenting detailed pricing and terms to customers.
  • Networking: Attend exhibitions and events, representing the company and exploring new opportunities.
  • Safety & Compliance: Adhere to the Company Health & Safety Policy, ensuring general housekeeping for tidy work areas, including company vehicles.
  • Quality Standards: Comply with all aspects of the company ISO 9001:2000 procedures, actively contributing to the company's continuous improvement program.

Skills and requirements

  • Market Insight: solid understanding of the Generator Hire Market.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent negotiator.
  • Strong Soft Skills: personal effectiveness, time management, problem solving etc.
  • Excellent Customer Focus: Customer-focused with the ability to establish and maintain positive relationships.
  • Strong Commercial Acumen: Good commercial awareness to identify new opportunities and maximise company profitability.
  • IT literate, proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Collaborative Team Player: Ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues and contribute as a team member.
  • Driving License: Full driving license is mandatory.
